How to Prepare for Life's Important Tipping Points as We Age (in person)

  • Emanuel Congregation 5959 North Sheridan Road Chicago, IL, 60660 United States (map)

Is the aging process predictable or random? Are there any controllables? Can we alter the course of our own life experience? Join Edgewater Village Chicago in partnership with the Association of Sheridan Condominium/Co-op Owners (ASCO) for an informative presentation by Joan Richman Ente, care director at Renewal Memory Partners.

Aging is a most important chapter of life, a dynamic time of change. Along the way, there are many tipping experiences such as memory problems, mobility issues, financial bottlenecks and more. How can we prepare for these moments that most people are likely to encounter on the long and winding road through the “golden years?” All attendees will be invited to discuss these issues and consider ideas about proactive planning for optimal aging.

Joan is a licensed clinical social worker and an active member of the Aging Life Care Association. She holds a master’s degree in social work and brings over 30 years of social work experience to Renewal Memory Partners.

Please enter the building from the parking lot side. Some parking available in that lot. There is a CTA 147 and 151 bus stop in at the corner of Thorndale and Sheridan.
